1) What these Website Terms cover

1.1 These Website Terms apply to your use of our website, including browsing, enquiries, and any information you obtain from it.

1.2 Vehicle purchases are not governed by these Website Terms. If you buy a vehicle from us, your purchase will be governed by the separate sale contract documents we provide to you (e.g., Order Form/Invoice and our Vehicle Sales Terms & Conditions, and where applicable distance-sale, reservation/deposit and finance documents).

2) Acceptance

2.1 By using this website, you agree to these Website Terms.

2.2 If you do not agree, you must stop using the website.

2.3 Other terms may apply. Your use of our website is also subject to our Privacy & Cookies Policy and Complaints Policy. If you buy a vehicle, the sale is governed by the signed sales documents we provide to you (not these Website Terms).

3) Access, availability and UK territory

3.1 We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

3.2 We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict access to all or part of the website for operational, security, or legal reasons.

3.3 UK users. Our website is intended for users in the United Kingdom. We do not represent that content is appropriate for use outside the UK. Any delivery, collection, test drive or finance availability may be limited by location and eligibility and will be confirmed during the sales process.

3.4 Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, network failures, supplier outages, power/utility interruptions, or severe weather). Where this affects a service we have confirmed (such as an appointment), we will work with you to rearrange where reasonably possible.

4) Information on the website (no offer / no reliance)

4.1 Website content (including vehicle adverts, images, specifications, finance examples, pricing, and availability) is provided for general information and may change.

4.2 A vehicle listing on the website is an invitation to enquire, not a legally binding offer. Vehicles may be sold, reserved, withdrawn, or amended at any time.

4.3 If something is important to your decision (specification, features, history, condition points, delivery timing, finance terms), you should ask us to confirm it in writing as part of the sales process.

4.4 Illustrations and examples. Images and descriptions may be illustrative. Colours and features can appear different depending on device settings. Any part-exchange valuations and any finance figures (if shown) are indicative only and subject to checks and third-party approval.

5) Acceptable use

5.1 You may use this website for lawful purposes only and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the site.

5.2 You must not:

• misuse the site by introducing viruses, trojans, or other malicious code;

• attempt unauthorised access to the website, servers, or connected systems;

• use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or copy website content (including vehicle listings, pricing, images, or descriptions);

• reproduce, copy, resell, or commercially exploit website content without our written permission; or

• use the website in a way that is misleading, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise unlawful.

5.3 Competitor use. You may not use this website or its content for commercial benchmarking, systematic copying, or compiling listings/stock intelligence for a competing motor trade business.

5.4 Computer misuse and reporting. Unauthorised access, interference, or attacks may constitute offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We may report suspected offences and cooperate with law enforcement. Please report security issues to sales@picocars.co.uk (subject line: “Website security”).

6) Intellectual property

6.1 The website and its content (text, images, logos, branding, page layout, and design) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

6.2 You may print or download extracts for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not modify or distribute content without written permission.

7) Enquiries and communications

7.1 If you contact us via the website, email, phone or WhatsApp, you agree that we may respond using those channels.

7.2 We may keep records of communications for training, quality, dispute handling, and fraud prevention, in line with our Privacy & Cookies Policy.

8) User content (where enabled)

8.1 If the website allows you to submit content (e.g., reviews or enquiry messages), you agree that:

• your content must be accurate (to the best of your knowledge), lawful, and not misleading; and

• you will not post personal data about others without their permission.

8.2 We may remove or moderate user content at our discretion, especially where it appears unlawful, abusive, spammy, or misleading.

9) Links to third-party websites

9.1 This website may contain links to third-party sites (e.g., finance providers, warranty providers, mapping services). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.

9A) Linking to our site

You may link to our home page in a way that is fair and lawful and does not damage our reputation or suggest endorsement. You must not frame our site, create a link to a non-homepage part of the site, or use our branding without written permission. We may withdraw linking permission at any time.

10) Motor finance information on the website

10.1 We are a credit broker, not a lender. Any finance is provided by third-party lenders (subject to status and their checks).

10.2 Illustrative finance examples. Any finance examples on the website are illustrative and may not reflect the rate you receive. The lender will set the final terms based on status and their assessment. Full disclosures and your personalised information are provided during the finance journey and in our Motor Finance Pack, in good time before you enter any finance agreement.

11) Limitation of liability

11.1 Nothing in these Website Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).

11.2 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from:

• your inability to access or use the website;

• reliance on website content where you have not obtained written confirmation during the sales process; or

• viruses or other harmful material arising from use of the website (provided we have taken reasonable steps to protect the site).

11.3 If you are a consumer, nothing in these Website Terms affects your statutory rights. Unfair terms are not binding on consumers.

12) Privacy and cookies

12.1 Our Privacy & Cookies Policy explains how we process personal data and use cookies/analytics. Cookie consent for non-essential cookies must be an active choice.

13) Changes to these Website Terms

13.1 We may update these Website Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on the website with the revised effective date.

14) Governing law

14.1 These Website Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction (subject to mandatory consumer protections).

Bookings, Test Drives, Reservations & Holding Deposits

Document control: Version v1.0 |

Effective date: 29 December 2025 | Last reviewed: 29 December 2025

1) What this page is (and isn’t)

This page explains how we normally handle bookings and reservations. It is not the contract for buying a vehicle. Any vehicle purchase is governed by the signed sales documents we provide to you (Order Form/Invoice + our Vehicle Sales Terms & Conditions, and where applicable distance-sale, finance, and reservation/deposit documents).

2) Test drives and viewing appointments

• Appointments are arranged directly with us (phone/WhatsApp/email).

• We may ask for reasonable information to arrange an appointment and confirm eligibility (for example, identity and driving licence for test drives).

• We can decline or cancel an appointment where needed (for example, the vehicle is sold/reserved, staff availability changes, or we have reasonable concerns about safety/fraud).

3) Reservations and holding deposits (current process)

• At present, reservation fees / holding deposits are normally taken by bank transfer after you speak with us and we confirm the details.

• A vehicle is only treated as reserved once we confirm reservation acceptance in writing (for example by email or WhatsApp) and cleared funds are received (where a deposit is agreed).

4) Cancellations and refunds (reservations/holding deposits)

• Where a reservation fee/deposit applies, the detailed terms are set out in our Reservation, Deposit, Collection & Storage Terms (provided to you to sign/acknowledge where applicable).

• Any refund/retention will be handled fairly and in line with those signed terms and your statutory rights.

5) If we introduce online reservation payments in future

If we later add an online reservation/deposit feature, we will show you the relevant reservation/deposit terms before you pay, and those terms will apply to the reservation.
